The whole process of starting up a business can be stressful - we’ve certainly been there! Even with a one person limited company the administration can appear complex and time consuming. Opening a bank account for your company is certainly no different. You can’t use your existing personal account as the money your company earns belongs to the company and not you. It can take time to open the account and, as it’s central to your whole business, the sooner it takes the better. After all, your business can’t get paid until you have one!

We can help

We have teamed up with Barclays Bank to help make the process of getting your business bank account up and running both more quickly and more easily. We work together with Barclays as an approved new business partner and are a member of the Barclays New Business Introducer Scheme. We have access to a dedicated Barclays business account team and access to a fast track account application process.

What we do and what happens

• The initial registration form for the fast track account application is filled in with us. We then pass everything on to Barclays when you are happy.

• Barclays will then contact you no later than 48 hours (2 working days) from the point at which Barclays receive your details.

• Your details will be then referred to a Barclays Business Manager who is based locally to your business address.

• He or she will then arrange to meet with you to deal with your account opening. Please be aware that you may be required to take additional Identification & company documents with you when you open your account.

The very large small print

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to successfully open a bank account with Barclays. They are obviously subject to numerous rules and regulations so will carry out the usual identity and credit checks when discussing your account and your requirements.

We are here merely to facilitate a fast process in obtaining a business bank account so you can get on with running your business as quickly and as hassle free as possible. Plus they will contact you so there is no need to traipse down to a number of local banks to try and locate a business manager (before having to return at a later date as you can’t have appointments on demand etc) or trawl through numerous websites to try and find a service suitable to you.
